Are your asbestos management plans and procedures up-to-date?

Duty holders of all non-domestic properties which contain asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are required by law to manage the risk of asbestos.

Once asbestos has been identified the dutyholder must prepare a plan that sets out in detail how the risk of asbestos will be managed.

Asbestos management plans should be easy to access and update, and it is generally recommended that they are reviewed every 12 months. The purpose of the review is to ensure that the management plan is effective and compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012). Failure to review and update the management plan as frequently as required, increases the risk of compromising the health and safety of those who occupy the premises.

Hatch Consultancy can provide a detailed review of your current asbestos procedures and your asbestos management plans to ensure compliance with current asbestos regulations and safety of on-site personnel.
